Dual Performance is led by Alex Clarke.

Alex has been involved in the preparation of elite athletes for almost 20 years. throughout this time he's worked with both individual athletes including olympic gold medalists and world champions as well as 6 professional football teams. He is accredited as a Master and level 3 Australian strength and conditioning association (ASCA) coach, the highest level of qualification in Australia.

Alex is currently employed as the Senior Athletic Performance Coach for the Wests Tigers in the NRL in Australia.

SportS Physiotherapist

 

Dr Laura Clarke (PhD) is Dual Performance’s resident Sport and Exercise Physiotherapist.

With almost 20 years experience she has working with a wide variety of sportspeople and teams from developmental athletes through to the elite level.

Laura has worked with Australian Olympic level teams and has toured extensively both domestically and internationally with swimming, Rugby 7s, water polo, soccer, AFL and Paralympic sports. In 2008 she also held the coveted position of Post-Graduate Physiotherapy Scholar at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Laura completed a PhD on risk factors and mechanisms for shoulder injury in Australian Rules Football in 2020 and is also a clinical educator in anatomy at the University of Wollongong and The University of Western Sydney.
